I have had pressure headache for a month, auras, & neck/ear stiffness. Worried about brain tumor. MRI w/o contrast normal. Should I get 1 w/ contrast?

In brief: No

I would urge you to get your headaches evaluated by another physician if you are having auras.
This suggests migraine. If the diagnosis of "pressure headache" has been made, then you are owed a fuller account -- if you do have increased intracranial pressure, consideration of pseudotumor cerebri, hypertension & a mass lesion must be made & a clear diagnosis rendered.

In brief: Discuss with your MD

MRI with contrst is more sensitive test than without contrast.
when looking for brain tumors.Even though most tumors may be visible but some could be missed without the Gondolium contrast Your case you have to discuss with your doctor
