But it is a good start! Some are suggesting that this should even be considered a "vital sign" (like blood pressure and temperature), because we are as a culture becoming oblivious to our obesity, something that is as bad for your body as diabetes, smoking, or hypertension. If it is high, it is time to start thinking about your dietary and exercise habits.
