In brief: Upper respiratory

This sounds like an upper respiratory infection that is moving into your lungs, evolving into bronchitis.
The rest and fluids is certainly right on. Some people benefit from chloroseptic for sore throat and Motrin for headache. A doctor should evaluate to make sure that you don't have strep throat (which can lead to rheumatic fever), sinus infection, or bronchitis... All would need antibiotics.

In brief: Allergy?

Your symptoms could be related to allergies and not necessarily a viral infection.
Do you notice your symptoms worsen in a certain environment like outdoors but not indoors or at home but not at work, etc? Clues like that may help your doctor to narrow down the potential causes and get you feeling better quickly!
