Fillings on front teeth 03/12/15, local anesthetic, severe pain around nose.

Not uncommon. Local anesthetic injection sites are typically sore for several days. Also dental treatment may result in tooth discomfort due to inflammation of the nerve inside a tooth. Take an NSAID OTC or Tylenol (acetaminophen) to help with any pain, if necessary. If the pain persists or worsens after a few days, see your dentist. Best of luck.
Call your dentist. Call your dentist to make sure that the restorations were not considered deep and may need further dental intervention. The bone is the anterior section of the maxilla, front teeth on top, is thin and the nose and the teeth can feel sensitive for weeks due to the injection site and possible severity of the restoration. When in doubt, contact the dentist.
Return to dentist. While some discomfort in the teeth, for 1-2 days, may be common after this type of filling, "severe pain" around the nose is not. If this does not resolve in that time and/or you experience any swelling you need to return to the dentist for an evaluation.
Return visit. go back to the dentist and describe symptoms for reevaluation.
