In brief: HIV Symtoms

Acute HIV (newly acquired hiv) the symptoms can be like a virus or cold, including: decreased appetite, tiredness, fever, headache, weakness, muscle stiffness/aching, rash, sore throat, swollen glands, and oral ulcers.
Symptoms typically occur within 7-28 days after exposure (through unprotected sex, needle sharing most commonly). Hiv can become aids over time. When in doubt, get a HIV test!
