I was told that RDL out of Ca. Is the gold standard lab for ANA profile. What are your thoughts on this?

That's news to me. And I'm a pathologist, a specialist in lab medicine. The ANA is NEVER more than just one small piece that a physician uses to make a diagnosis. One older woman out of four has a positive ANA despite being perfectly healthy. This is a hard concept to get people to understand, but it's the truth.
