Could this be a heart problem? I am 22 and when I lie down my heart beats very hard. It makes me cough at times and short of breathe. Is it anxiety?

See below. Coughing when laying down can be secondary to acid reflux or GERD. Do you have history of palpitations? You should see your doctor and get a baseline ECG / Holter monitor if there's a concern about your heart beating faster. Limit your coffee, soda, energy drinks intake. .
