Ibs and gall stone in neck of gall bladder?

Unclear. Cystic duct obstruction of gallbladder is complicated by cholecystitis, pain, and commonly need for cholecystectomy. Pain more commonly in right upper abdomen but is variable.
Similar symptoms. Both ibs and gall stones can cause nausea, bloating and abdominal pain. Both are associated with symptoms shortly after eating. Diarrhea is not usually associated with gb disease. The pain with gb disease is epigastric to ruq, sometimes with radiation around to the shoulder blade or straight through to the back. Stones impacted in the neck of the gb are associated with acute cholecystitis.
