In brief: Molluscum

In advanced HIV disease, hundreds of small mollusca or giant mollusca occur on the face and other sites.
Caused by a Pox virus, its contagious. Forms umbilicated papules that rupture and release virus particles. This rupture causes a small crater at the center of the individual lesion thus the lesions look umbilicated.
