My 6yo woke up with a low grade fever and keeps saying his legs hurt. Is the leg pain anything to worry about or normal with fever?

Usually normal. Many febrile illnesses in children are accompanied by aches and pains in the muscles and joints which usually resolve as the illness does. If the child is unable to bear weight on one or both legs, they would need to be seen.
