Is it possible to have the stomach bug and just have diarrhea?

Unlikely. The stomach bug usually involves both the symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. Diarrhea alone would increase the possible causes. If this doesn't resolve see your doctor with a stool sample. All the best. Careful hand hygiene.

I have been having diarrhea, vomiting in the first two days but no longer, and lower abdominal pain. I do know if this a stomach bug or something else?

Viral most likely. Stomach bug is possible esp viral i.e. Rota, norwalk etc. Most of the time, self limiting and no treatment. Keep hydrated. If pain and diarrhea persists, see family doc. Unless you traveled somewhere or ate out recently, chances are it is nothing to worry about. Read more...

Got a stomach bug or something, lower abdomen tender a little pain, no loose stools, any home remedies?

See below: Lower abdominal discomfort and tenderness is less likely to be due to a "bug"(gastroenteritis) if there is no diarrhea. If the pain persists see a physician. Constipation can cause this symptom. I'm not aware of any OTC meds for relief of abdominal pain. For more information on causes of abdominal pain go to: http://bit.ly/10RdXop. Read more...
