Not recommended. it is safest for them to know everything you are taking or have taken recently. they are obligated to keep that information confidential. if you havent used marijuana in 2 weeks before the procedure, it is unlikely that it will directly affect how they manage your case, but the more information your doctor has about you the better. Hopefully forever. At least 24 hours. If you can go longer that would be better to promote healing. Smoking compromises your immune system. 6hrs longer is bette. I recommend waiting 6 hours after extraction and do not inhale forcibly so as not to dislodge the clot and cause a dry socket. Read more...
