I'm having a late period (10 days), hCG blood test 0.45 2 days ago, negative urine tests, had white discharge today. Cycle length is 35 days. Am I pregnant?

HCG Blood Test. The HCG blood test can detect levels about 10 days after the last menstrual period (lmp), while urine tests lag a few days behind. A single test is not definitive, but rising levels are highly suggestive of a pregnancy. Normally, results are reported in miu/ml and levels between 5-50 miu are consistent with a pregnancy 3 weeks after the lmp. Since you we're "late, " you may be further along. Read more...

There . There are lots of reasons your period could be late besides being pregnant. Here are just a few: being emotionally stressed or physically ill. Really low or high weight or really high levels of exercise (like a long distance runner). Losing or gaining a lot of weight. Birth control pills or other medication can impact your periods. An ovarian cyst, polycystic ovaries or fluctuating hormone levels. There are many more possible reasons besides these. It is not uncommon to have some irregularity with periods. I do not know what a test result of 3.4 means. I hope this helps. Read more...
Agree with Dr. F. If the figure 3.4 is the blood HCG level, that is consistent with negative urine pregnancy test and you are unlikely to be pregnant. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon. If you miss more than two periods, see your doctor.

Seems unlikely. Condoms are pretty effective at preventing pregnancy. May be a bit early for a beta. A positive beta would be real but a negative would require a retest. I would wait until next week i think... Read more...

It's been 10 days since I had sex I just had a blood test that came back at. 1 hCG is this to soon to be accurate I'm a week late expecting my period?

Possible. At one week late for your period, a urine test should be very clearly positive or negative. A typical urine test has a cutoff of about 100 for the hormone level. You should be around that point by the time you missed your period. A blood test can go as low as 0.5, which is how the lab reports a negative result simply as "<0.5". If you are concerned, repeat the test either blood or urine. . Read more...
Expect More. According to attached info, values above 25 are considered positive for pregnancy. My period is 53 days late! I have had 2 neg blood test and 1 neg HPT. Could I be pregnant and not enough HCG in my blood? What's wrong?!

Hormonal changes. You are most probably not pregnant and the prolonged 53 day delay in your menstrual period is very likely due to some "hormonal changes" in your pituitary-hypothalamus-ovarian/adrenal or thyroid functions . You may need to consult a Gyn endocrinologist for an evaluation and possible treatment depending on your diagnosis and reproductive life plans. Read more...
