Systolic blood pressure, the top number, can go as high as 160-200 mm Hg during intense exertion, but with walking I wouldn't expect a systolic pressure of more than 150+ mm Hg. Diastolic blood pressure should not rise much at all, & exercise should be stopped if diastolic is >100 mm Hg. Prompt/10 min return of BP to normal,
