In brief: Maybe

Lyrica (pregabalin) reduces irritability of nerves that are damaged or inflamed.
That often results in less pain. Like most medications, it works in some people, and not in others. Careful adjustment of the dose is often needed to reduce pain without causing side effects. Some people have side-effects that they can't tolerate.

In brief: No

If by inflamed nerves, you mean, anxiety, the answer is no.
If you mean, an actual nerve, like say, the femoral nerve, the answer again is no. It will though help relieve unwanted sensations from nerves in arms and legs, but not by decreasing inflammation in those nerves. It messes with Calcium trafficking in nervous tissue helping modulate pain transmission and is anti-seizure. http://labeling.pfizer.com/ShowLabeling.aspx?id=561#section-12.1

In brief: Yes and no

Lyrica (pregabalin) helps with nerve pain or symptoms, but this is not always because nerves are inflamed.
Some nerves are painful as they are dying off, such as in diabetes, or in another hyper-excitable state as in fibromyalgia. Lyrica (pregabalin) works by modulating transmitters that send painful sensations to the brain and provides relief in that way.

In brief: Not exactly

The only thing that will help inflamed nerves are time, NSAIDS and steroids.
Lyrica (pregabalin) does help slow down the firing of nerves that may be irritated. Hope that helps.
