Is Lumbar Disc (L5/S1) replacement a viable option? If so, is Spinal Kinetics M6L better than Synthes ProDisc?

In brief: Yes and no

For the appropriately selected candidate who has also failed non-operative care, I do think a disc replacement can be a very viable option.
The profuse in general probably had more ongterm data to support its use at this point, which is not to say it is better( just more documentation that it is relatively safe and effective.
