Pain Management

In brief: NSAIDs + Tylenol (acetaminophen)

You can take NSAIDs or Tylenol) to ease the discomfort.
Sometimes these OTC medications aren't enough to relieve the pain. Keep a good oral hygiene and clove oil has proved to be an effective treatment for dry socket. Take care.

In brief: Pain relief

Sorry you are in such a situation.
Best to keep it clean with gentle rinsing (warm water), or irrigation with a plastic syringe if you have one. Also, take ibuprofen every 4-6 hours if needed to help with the inflammation and pain. Beyond that -- nothing you can do. Needs to be cleaned and packed with medicated iodoform gauze. Then changed every 3-5 days. Good Luck.
