Told I have 45 follicles on my ovaries! Is that good & if I take Clomid (clomiphene) is there a high chance of conceiving multiples? I have PCOS.

Follicles. The doctor who did not tell you what 45 follicles will mean to you it is time for you to change doctors. The origin of the word doctor is "docere" - to teach! Your doctor is not doing her/his job appropriately.

I have a whole week with pain in my nipples I have pcos and I took Clomid (clomiphene) 150mg for this month 2-7 on cycle 8 had 2 follicles 11mm-10mm chances?

Not too good. Generally successful cycles will yield several follicles, over 5, and the most promising follicles should be at least 20mm or more. Talk to your provider regarding next step, if this is your first cycle, you may be able to do one more round of clomid (clomiphene). Read more...

I have pcos my dr did a transvaginal ultrasound and found 1 follicle what are the chances of it maturing to a healthy egg while on clomid (clomiphene)?

More information. If your doctor found only one follicle, then likelihood of ovulation followed by pregnancy is low. Having said that, it only takes one, right? Typically on Clomid (clomiphene) a woman is going to have multiple follicles that are moving toward maturity. Good luck! Read more...

I am 25 my husband is 29 we have been trying to concieve for five years I have pcos and just started Clomid (clomiphene) 50 mg days 5-9 what are the chances we can?

Varies. Hard to say. 5 years is a long time. Assuming you had irregular periods, regular sex, but never ovulated, then your chances are good, about 20% per month if you ovulate on the clomid (clomiphene). Assuming that you previously ovulated but not regularly, you likely had sex during that time frame and so that means you still had a chance to get pregnant. In that case, your chances are good but likely lower. Read more...

I have pcos. 100mg clomiphene along with metformin gave me small immature follicles. What can be done next?

More clomiphene . It sounds as if you have not adequately responded to the dose of Clomiphene you are on. Once your doctor has determined you have failed that dose, they will increase it to 150 mg, and if still unsuccessful after that either increase further or go onto other medications. Read more...
Injections . Maybe injections. Talk to your fertility doctor. Sometimes you can combine the Clomid (clomiphene) w the injections and that will help the immature follicle to mature. Read more...
