The bottom left side of my tongue hurts. I didn't bite it. It may be the gland but it's only on the left side. No bumps. Has been hurting for one day.

? ulcer. Look well for small ulcers, aphthous ulcers are tiny oral ulcers usually painful. If pain persists have it checked out.
Obstructing salivary. stones can occur in the drainage duct of the salivary gland under the tongue. to treat it, suck on a lemon which stimulates the drainage of the gland and the duct which will expel the stone. if it doesn't work, you may need to see an ENT physician.
