In brief: Waist pain

Waist pain is not usually associated with periods.
Generally menstrual pain is in the lower abdomen, pelvis, or lower back. This pain sounds like something else and if it is significant you should be seen and evaluated by your primary care doctor or an urgent care clinic. Hope you feel better fast.
