In brief: Plavix (clopidogrel)
Discuss this with your physician.
The drug is discontinued if the risk to your health of bleeding outweighs the benefit of the drug to inhibit platelets from forming clots.

In brief: Complicated
That is such a complicated question that i hesitate to answer as it should be decided by your physician.
It depends on why you are taking the plavix (clopidogrel). If it is after you got a drug eluting stent, it is generally accepted that you stay on the medication for at least a year, but once again i would not stop the medicine unless advised by your doctor.
