This is tooth sensitivity.
This can be caused by cavities or worn teeth. It would be good to see your dentist. The enamel
on teeth (the hard coating) can weaken from the effects of acid and bacteria
in your mouth making you more prone to cavities and gum disease
. You can help prevent this with sensitivity toothpastes and high flouride toothpastes and rinses. Flouride can strengthen teeth.
