In brief: I'm not a dentist

But.... Preventing cavities is fairly straight forward: Brush your teeth with a fluoride-containing toothpaste after meals, avoid eating sweets, floss twice a day, drink fluoridated water, and see your dentist twice a year.

In brief: The obvious secret

Tooth decay and cavities can be avoided if you floss, brush and receive regular dental checkups.
Hope it helps.

In brief: Carbs, Fluoride, H2O

A number of things: 1) reduce Carb intake and frequency of snacking.
2) Drink more water 3) Floss before bedtime 4) finish bedtime routine with a fluoride rinse and do not eat or drink anything for 1 hour (do not eat/drink anything at all if possible...this includes water).
