Probably not, but... Trichomonas is an STD. BV is not an STD, at least not in the usual sense: it's associated with sex but not caused by any known sexually transmitted germ. Because trich is an STD, it is more associated with HIV than BV is. The large majority of women with trich do not have HIV, but to be safe you need an HIV blood test.
