Does hypothyroidism and interstitial cystitis have any connection? Are they caused by an autoimmune disorder?

In brief: No connection

Hypothyroidism is often autoimmune but interstitial cystitis remains mysterious.
Both are very common and I think if you have them both, it's best attributed to dumb luck. I hope you find a way of managing the interstitial cystitis.
