In brief: Not known

modafinil increases the activity of certain enzymes in the liver that process progesterone, a hormone used in many birth control pills.
This can cause progesterone levels to be lower than expected, leading to decreased effectiveness at preventing pregnancy. This has not actually been studied (ie women on BCP, women on BCP and modafinil. How many get pregnant?). No % available. Sorry.
