In brief: Blepharospasm

See if it's involuntarily, or controllable.
? Age. One eye or both? Could be secondary to dry eye or allergies. Blepharospasm needs evaluation.

In brief: Blinking

Frequent blinking can result from problems with the ocular surface such as dry eyes, allergies and bepharitis.
Getting treatment for these if present will help. A more forceful closure of one or both eyes can be a result of blepharospasm or hemifacial spasm which may be neurological conditions. Finally a habit or tic can also cause this to occur. See your eyemd if problems persist.
