If bx raken and fresh specimen sent for chemosensitivity then at times various combination can be found to work but all are temporary. Immnunochemo may be more helpful using Ervitux, an epithelial growth factor inhibitor with chemo or Avastin (bevacizumab) with chemo. Investigational. NEO 102 is a monoclonal antibody, not what is usually meant by the word chemotherapy. It is the subject of ongoing clinical trials. Therefore it is not yet known whether the drug is useful, harmful, or indifferent. In the U.S. it would only be available for subjects in a clinical trial. How effective is regorafenib for colon cancer mets?

Regorafenib. ...is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor which has been shown to have some activity against metastatic colon cancer. When used as part of a colon cancer treatment regimen by an oncologist, it has been shown to increase overall survival. It does have some worrisome potential side effects, however. Depends. One study showed a response rate of 40%. "Response" in this context, means the tumor shrunk. It is rare for tumors to disappear on regorafenib. Clinical benefit depends to a great extent on the overall fitness of the patient (performance status), extent of disease, and number of prior therapies.
