Can tummy problems make you fatigue and short of breath?

Yes. If your tummy is really bloated, it can mechanically interfere with the excursion of your diaphragm and cause shortness of breath. Any illness (even the anxiety surrounding illness) can make you fatigued. If it's interfering with a good night's sleep, it's doubly likely to make you tired.
