I barely got sick last night. Well just a minor stuffy nose and minor sore throat. What can I do to get rid of it as soon as it came?

Sleep and time. Those symptoms are classic for a viral infection. The best thing you can do to get over these types of infections is sleep and get lots of rest. Your immune system functions much better when you have slept a good night. Medication such as anabiotic's really don't help with a viral infection. Treat the symptoms with antihistamines or decongestants or maybe a throat lozenge. Beyond that give it time. Read more...

I'm a 14 year old female. I have been sick on and off for a while (mainly stuffy nose and soar throat)past two days I've had chest and upper back pain.

URI. Your symptoms sound like an upper respiratory infection, usually viral. The stuffy nose can cause sore throat/dryness esp when sleeping and not clearing airway. You can use Sudagest 60 mg at night OTC. The chest pain is often from coughing strongly. If needed, you could add Robitussin DM for cough at night so subdue it so your chest/back muscles don't hurt. Just getting over walking pneumonia but today I woke up with a bad sore throat its killing me a stuffy nose hurts to swallow could I b get sick again?

Yes, you could. If you are finished with your antibiotics for your pneumonia, you could certainly have a new bacterial infection. Your symptoms are also consistent with a viral illness, which would not have been covered by the antibiotic taken for the pneumonia. I would recommend that you see your doctor tomorrow to help you figure this out and get you feeling better. Read more...
Possibly. You didn't mention whether you have fever or chills along with this. However your clinical history & medications warrants you calling your doctor first and letting her or him know that you're feeling sick with a sore throat. They can instruct you what to do. In the meantime, use warm, saline gargles, hydrate and rest. That is comforting and easy to do from home. Keep your neck warm and covered. Read more...
