The best way to tell if these are the same nodule or if this is a new nodule would be to have the radiologist or your oncologist compare the CT's side-by-side.
It may be obvious that they are or are not the same nodule. If it is not obvious, then further testing may be necessary, perhaps even a biopsy of the nodule if it is worrisome. Good luck.
