Is corgard (nadolol) or Tenormin effective for treating akathisia?

No. Tenormin (atenolol) has the least penetrance into the central nervous system of all the beta blockers. Propranolol has the best. I don't think propranolol is particularly effective but has a better chance than Tenormin (atenolol).
