How do you cure a painful neck ache?

Therapy and NSAIDS. This is not a curable condition. Typically, it is due to muscular strain and arthritis. Therefore, if it persists for greater than a few (4-6) weeks I would recommend physical therapy and non-steroidal medications. This will usually help decrease the symptoms and hopefully allow remission for quite some time.
