Will z pak (azithromycin) take care of an ear infection?

Azithromycin. In most cases a Z-pak will cure ear infections (I believe the cure rate is around 92%). Follow-up with your prescribing physician at the end of treatment if you are still having significant symptoms.
Azithromycin. Zithromax is not the first-line drug to treat ear infections but is an acceptable substitute in certain situations (suspected mycoplasma infection or penicillin allergy are examples). .
