When should I stop having unprotected sex during the use of the nuva ring?

After first 2 weeks. After you have used the Nuvaring for the first 2 weeks you are no longer unprotected against pregnancy. However, you are never unprotected against STDs by the Nuvaring alone. Hope this helps. Be safe.
