Can anxiety cause slight T wave inversion? I ve had around 30 ECG during the last 6 months (everytime it was because i went to the ER after having a panic attack and feeling of irregular heartbeat). 28 times i ve had normal ECG but 2 times i ve had what

T waves are usually inverted in aVR and often leads III, aVL, aVF & V1, An inverted t wave in any single lead is considered a "normal variant.
" Anxiety doesn't cause T wave inversion but, in your case, it is causing multiple ER visits & EKG's and probably more anxiety. You sound miserable but what you need is appropriate & aggressive treatment for your anxiety, not more EKG's.
