Dysfunctional gallbladder pain commonly radiates from mid to upper right abdomen to the back.
The pain typically starts an hour or a few hours after a meal. Fatty foods especially set off the gripping pain. An ultrasound & hidda scan can effectively diagnose.

Adhesions of the distal intestines or colon may also be a factor if the gallbladder is found to not be the problem.
