In brief: Sinus Remedies

Warm, moist air is a good decongestant.
Thinning mucus by using saline flushes will get mucus flowing again. Otc remedies include oral decongestants, such as pseudoephedrine, antihistamines, such as zyrtec, allegra, and Claritin (may cause drying), and topical decongestants, such as afrin, (caution -- addicting) will all open up the nasal and sinus passages. If symptoms persist, see your doctor.
