In brief: Compresses

Good warm compresses at least twice a day for2-3 minutes is the basic treatment of a stye.

In brief: Apply heat asap

The trick is to apply as much heat as possible, without burning your skin, as often as possible, as soon as sty noticed.
If you do this 20-50 times per session (hot towel in hot water over your stye (avoid pushing on eye); re-heating when towel gets cold (like hot towel push ups), it will open the meibomian gland and allow the stye to resolve usually less than 3-4d. See eyemd otherwise. Good luck.
