Absolutely. Always keep in mind that drugs have the same effects regardless of why we take them. As physicians we always have to balance our intended effects with this side effects, which can often be quite unpleasant. Sometimes when a drug gets overly-politicized, as in medical marijuana, people tend to down-play the side effects. Don't be fooled by the hype.
