How I can be a good dentist especially that I am a first year student in dental surgery? I need advice. .
Listen and learn. It takes. Time to become a good dentist. One of the most important things is to listen to the patient and don't judge them on their appearance or the way they talk. Listen and get to know them. The patient will usually tell you the diagnosis. Don't jump to conclusions. Also, learn as much as you can from all your instructors, even if you don't like them. They can surprise you.
Study and work hard! The hardest step for many is being accepted into a health professional school, so congratulations! But now the hard work really begins! Study effectively and regularly, find good study partners, identify mentors/teachers and learn from them. Most of all remember you answered the call to a service profession, so be thankful to your patients and be sure their care is your main focus.
