Had my period July 1st to the 11th the day of my removal of iud mirena (levonorgestrel) had unprotected sex week of 12 to 17th now today is July 28 why I'm a bleeding?

Your period. If your last period started on July 1, this is day 27 of your cycle and your period is due. The removal of your IUD didn't necessarily change that although it can change it for some women. There is only a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant in any given cycle (fecundity) prior to age 30 and this drops as we age. I had unprotected sex on morning my Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD got removed on April 7th, haven't gotten my period, could I be pregnant?

Highly unlikely. It is highly unlikely that you got pregnant when you have hormones preventing ovulation and pregnancy still in your system. But if in doubt and enough time has passed since the sexual encounter go get a pregnancy test. Read more...

I am on the orthoevra patch & I just got on it last wed. Unprotected sex evry day til now. Period ended the day I got on the patch, mirena (levonorgestrel) b4, am I prego?

Unlikely. If you had a Mirena (levonorgestrel) and started on the patch on the day your period ended(assuming the normal 4-7 days) you are probably protected. It is like starting a pack of birth control pills on the 7th day after the start of a period and you are protected. However, nothing is foolproof and if you don't get your period at the next regularly scheduled time, you should see your doctor and get a pregnancy test. Read more...

IUD the mirena (levonorgestrel) and every few months I start to bleed like a regular period yesterday was the last day I had unprotected sex and bled. Risk of disease?

Not high. the Mirena (levonorgestrel) is very effective, but some women do get periods while using it. your chance of being pregnant is quite small, but a home preg test will answer that. disease is pretty unlikely in a 20 year old with the exception of STDs which can be checked for easily as well.
