How long does it take for a kidney infection & inflammation to go away along w/ pain? I'm on cipro (ciprofloxacin). It's been almost a week already stil in pain.

It really depends on how bad the infection is or was.
If it is a mild infection, the pain and inflammation should go away relatively quick. It will be longer if the infection is more severe. However, if you are not feeling any improvement after a week of antibiotics, i would see the doctor again. The bug causing the infection may be resistant to the antibiotic or it may be something else.
