In brief: Other causes?

If you are anxious and hyperventilate (breathe rapidly) you could get lightheaded and nauseous.
Breathing into a paper bag helps. However if you are having repeated episodes other causes such as vasovagal syncope or heart rhythm problems have to be considered. Please address your concern with your doctor.
