That means you have to make more Insulin to keep blood glucose normal. The most common cause is obesity/overweight and sedentary lifestyle. Genetic predisposition. Medications and medical conditions can contribute. So the solution is to fix the problem: diet and exercise. I actually do not measure insulin, since it will not change what i would do anyway.
