Itchy red spots with clear fluid. What is that?

Note sure. These lesions need to be visualized & a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis. Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.
Chickenpox. That's just a wild guess. I'm hopeful that you would have already received your chickenpox vaccination which would make this very unlikely. However, it's best for you to go see your family doctor for an evaluation & diagnose along w/appropriate treatment. It would help if you knew whether you were exposed to someone else w/similar symptoms. Or had your vaccination records available.

Yes. It is possible to be allergic to chemicals in a soap or detergent. If the areas of the itchy spots match the areas you washed, then it is likely. Treatment is to avoid re-exposure. ITCHING FOR ANSWERS! Sounds like a hypersensitivity (allergic) reaction to some element w/in the new soap. Since it appears that you have rash over multiple areas, I would advise against a topical treatment. You can try oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (antihistamine) for rash and itching. If not effective, your PCP may add additional medications like prednisone (corticosteroid). Would be happy to help. Consult with me via my inbox! Read more...
