This morning I had a sore throat only on the left side. Kinda sore when swallowing, no fever, and worse than in the morning. Could this be strep?

Yes, but... If it goes away during the day and you have no fever or headache, it is unlikely.
Maybe or maybe not. Atypical presentations of group b strep without a fever can occur. But typically strep throat usually has fever, isolated sore throat and no congestive symptoms. A large number of sore throat however can be attributed to a viral condition. Have your primary run a rapid strep test if concerned.
