This morning I had a sore throat only on the left side. Kinda sore when swallowing, no fever, and worse than in the morning. Could this be strep?

1 doctor agrees

In brief: Yes, but...

If it goes away during the day and you have no fever or headache, it is unlikely.

In brief: Maybe or maybe not

Atypical presentations of group b strep without a fever can occur. But typically strep throat usually has fever, isolated sore throat and no congestive symptoms.
A large number of sore throat however can be attributed to a viral condition. Have your primary run a rapid strep test if concerned.
