In brief: Pumping or Fenugreek

Breast milk production is often related to how often you feed your newborn.
You should be feeding every 2 hrs day and every 3 hrs nighttime. This increases milk production. Also getting enough sleep and drinking at least 60 ounces of fluid per day. Also ask your OB about an herbal supplement called fenugreek that can increase milk production.

In brief: Supply and demand

I would second the fenugreek but would also increase the number of feeds and watch your hydration and nutrition.
Stress can also decrease your milk production.

In brief: Several aids

Moist heat applied a few minutes prior to feeds can enhance blood flow and the let down reflex.
Increase feeds to 8-10/day~5-10min/side.(short effective feeds are better than lengthy ones)include night feedings.Massage the breast between feeds. Allow only one 5-6 hour interval between feeds/d. Find a relaxation method & rest yourself.Pump between feeds if you feel engorged.

In brief: Fenugreek

My sister took fenugreek which helped her out tremendously.
Increase your fluids and be persistent. Your body should be able to pick up its supply.
