In brief: Back pain

Recommend that you do a neutral spine core stability program for a few weeks.
If not significantly improved it may be time to have it evaluated. Can see videos of neutral spine exercises on youtube. This includes planks and "birddog". You can use over the counter meds such as tylenol (acetaminophen) or aleve.

In brief: Conservative Care

You should not be lifting any weight over 5-10 pounds.
Do not bend at the waist, use your legs. If there are no allergies or contraindications take otc Ibuprofen as directed. Keep a pillow between your legs if you sleep on your sides to keep your spine aligned at night. If you sleep on your back place a pillow under your knees. Try maintaining some gentle stretching to keep from tightening up.
