In brief: It shouldn't
The Mirena (levonorgestrel) intrauterine device has a good track record of preventing pregnancy.
However, only a fertilized egg or a placenta would secrete beta-hcg, which is what the pregnancy tests screen for. Check to make sure your iud strings are still in place; otherwise, check with your ob/gyn or family doctor to see whether you are indeed pregnant or not.

In brief: Mirena (levonorgestrel) & PG Test
The Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud contains Progesterone much like a bcp.
Progesterone is necessary for pregnancy but Mirena (levonorgestrel) & bcp use the Progesterone to change the cervical mucus to thick and sperm hostile and the endometrium (lining where embryo implants) to embryo hostile environments. Pregnancy secretes HCG which is a very different hormone and the pg test is not confused by the progesterone.
